The Older People's Project 

When the Coronavirus pandemic hit we immediately set up a phone bank and spoke to all our Older People to let them know that we were changing our service. 

 

We kept in contact with our members, sent out letters and treats, provided assistance for those that needed help and ran surveys and fun competitions to keep everyone’s spirits up. Our centre stayed open throughout 2020 to support our local residents including all our older people.

We fully reopened our service in February 2021. We now provide weekly sessions for Older People an fortnightly themed sessions. We publish a quarterly newsletter for our Older People which we post online and post out to members.
